Rebecca and Abbie set up The Cloud Factory as sisters who have worked in nurseries together for 10 years. The name ‘The Cloud Factory’ came from a song their dad as a folk singer would sing.

We allocate each child a key person who will directly care for your child. The key person is responsible for knowing your child to the core. The key person is essential for your child as it is someone they bond and feel comfortable with. They also will know your child’s development inside out and they will be your main “go to” for conversations about your child. They will plan and ensure your child is faced with exciting and challenging activities to explore. The key person will observe your child and upload pictures, videos and observations to their electronic learning journal. The key person will also ensure your child’s daily needs are met. In absence of your child’s key person, a significant other will be present to ensure these duties are still followed. As your child flourishes, it maybe that they bond more with another staff member within their room, if this is the case, we will change key person and let you know.
